Our Story
Wood-smoked meats, fire-grilled favorites, and a 100% Zabiha Halal kitchen, made fresh every day in Plano.
Our Founder
Smokin’ Grill began with our founder, Sayed Ali, a hafiz of the Quran and a teacher who spent years in the classroom teaching hundreds of students. Outside of school, he had a quiet passion: barbecue. Beef jerky, brisket, kebabs, and burgers, smoked and grilled the slow way, shared with anyone who happened to be around.
His students were his first customers. What started as a side passion turned into selling jerky and burgers after school, and the word spread faster than he ever expected. When the food kept selling out, the answer became obvious: open the doors for real. That is how Smokin’ Grill was born, and people have loved it ever since.

How We Cook
Our brisket, chicken, and turkey go into the smoker over real hardwood and stay there for hours. No shortcuts, no liquid smoke. Steaks, burgers, and kebabs are grilled fresh when you order them.
It’s not just barbecue, either. From Philly cheesesteaks to Lahori fish fry to fresh desserts, everything on the menu is made in our kitchen with the same care.

Our Halal Promise
Every cut of meat we serve is 100% Zabiha Halal and hand-slaughtered only. No machine processing, ever. We personally vet every supplier we work with.
You should never have to ask twice or read the fine print. At Smokin’ Grill, if it’s on the menu, it meets that standard. Period.

Our Home
We built a place where you can bring everyone: grandparents, kids, the whole crew after Jummah. There’s a kids menu, room for big tables, and free parking right outside.
Plano is our home, and our regulars are our neighbors. Whether it’s a quick lunch or a graduation dinner for thirty, we’re glad you’re here.

“If we wouldn't serve it to our own family,
we won't serve it to yours.”
